Urgent and emergency medical conditions
For urgent appointments outside our normal surgery hours, please call the out of hours service service on NHS 111.
NHS 111 online can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do.
Call 999 in a medical emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Our practices
Bridgwater Bay Primary Care Network is made up of nine medical practices. You can find the contact details, opening times, order repeat precriptions and much more from the practice websites. You can view and download your Covid pass, view your messages and GP record as well as order repeat prescriptions using the NHS App.

GP specialist services
We would like to see more specialist services provided within our community, allowing care closer to home.
Some of these services may be run by the main hospitals but work with GP premises to bring them closer to where you live. Other services may be run by GPs, because they have additional skills in a particular area.
As a primary care network we also want to ensure that we work with other organisations to prevent diseases occuring in the first place. We are also working on these projects and you can learn about them as they develop.
Acute Community Eyecare Scheme (ACES) Somerset
ACES is a free service available to all patients registered with a Somerset GP. The service provides patients experiencing recently occurring medical eye conditions with appropriate treatment closer to home. The service is provided by local optometrists with the specialist knowledge and skills to carry out this work at a locally approved opticians.
